Given that new technologies arise every day, completely changing the way in which we use various machines around us designed to make our life easier, we have to keep up with the fast pace of the new advancements. Of course, the HVAC area makes no exception to this, and just as smartphones and other devices continue to evolve, so do the air conditioning machines. Let’s have a look at the technologies that are currently trending on the market, but also keep in mind that there are many other out there that are still in the planning phase!

Smart Solutions

Everything is becoming ‘smart’ nowadays, so whether you believe it or not, there are some smart HVAC solutions too. Many people tend to replace the old technologies with new smart ones. But what do they actually do? Well, perhaps the most important thing they do is the fact that they save you energy and money. Not to mention that newer systems make your life easier by including simple and effortless commands. Thus, managing an HVAC system is an easier task which can convince more and more people to switch to modern machines.

Connected HVAC Solutions

The new software for HVAC aims to connect the systems for more control and a better programmability. There is a continuous race of providing connected HVAC systems, since more and more users are looking for this. It is indeed extremely useful to be able to connect your air conditioning to your smartphone, for example, and control it with a minimum effort.

Online Business

Nowadays, if you don’t have a website, you don’t exist. Most companies and even the small businesses choose to go online in order to reach more people, such as, for example, the National Air Warehouse. You will seldom find a company that does not cover the online world, and usually they are quickly left behind in this rapidly changing world. The best thing about this is the fact that, as a user, you have access to a huge array of services, systems, costs, estimations and so on.

Customer relationship has become increasingly important in modern world, and websites, social media accounts and mobile apps help businesses keep in touch with their customers. Moreover, you can easily spot the current online tendencies and what people would wish and need from a HVAC system. As such, you can invest in the right direction, which ultimately means that the online world can become essential for your development.

Thermally-Driven Air Conditioning

A new solution has been presented on the HVAC market: the AC that is thermally-driven. It is in fact a low-cost alternative for the conventional AC that runs on electricity. Basically, what these new AC appliances do is to use solar energy. In case you run out of solar energy, the device can be run on natural gas. You can even get solar panels that work together with it, so that you can get the whole package. It has even been proven that they cool a room/house much better, plus you save up on electricity.

Quiet Duct Wrap

Given the general tendency towards green solutions and technologies, no wonder that the Quiet Duct Wrap is beginning to gain lots of success. It is basically a duct wrap that is made out of denim fabric that is recycled and diverted from the landfill. Moreover, it contains no irritants and has low VOCs. Just like the regular duct wrap, it helps by reducing loss and gain of heat, process which happens through the air ducts.

Geothermal HVAC Products

One last interesting HVAC trend is using geothermal energy. It’s actually not that new, since geothermal products have been around since the 1940s, but it’s only recently that they started to gain more popularity. For example, one product that is more and more sought after is the geothermal heat pump. This uses the heat coming from the Earth with the help of looped piping placed on the ground.

In cold months, the liquid in the pipes loops underground, thus absorbing the heat. Then they carry the heat back indoors so that they can heat up the room. These systems are regarded as being 4 times more efficient than the traditional ones. Moreover, they can also provide cooling options.

All in all, a good company stays on top of all the modern developments and facilities, as long as it knows which these are. However, make sure you have a good interaction with your customers and remember to surprise them from time to time!
