Today Google has finally Unveiled the New Android Version, Android Oreo 8.0 Officially, the Android Oreo was in Beta Version for Pixel and Nexus devices from past 2-3 Months. But Now the Android Oreo is Official and Google has already rolled out a Stable Updater for Pixel and Nexus devices.

According to Google Inc., the Flagships and Android Devices launched this year with Google Own Devices are Expected to get the Latest Android 8.0 Oreo Update. Let us First discuss some of the Features of the Android 8.0 Oreo.

Features for Android 8.0 Oreo:

    • Multi Display Support: The New Android 8.0 Oreo brings a new feature to the table which is support for Multi Window, it’s just like how you run two Programs side by side on your Windows Desktop, Now you can run two Apps simultaneously on the Screen, say you need to Note something while watching a Youtube Video, so you can run Youtube and Notes App Simultaneously.
    • Notifications Channels: We have already seen How Google made Notifications Customization in Android Nougat, now with Android Oreo Google has taken a step ahead by bringing a New Functionality which let you group notifications from numerous apps into one channel, which helps in Managing your Notifications.
    • Picture In A Picture: This means that the Videos will Minimize Smaller to the Corner of the Screen while using Another App, it’s like what you get in the Youtube App when you slide it down.

 

  • Better Icons & UI: Android 8.o Oreo has much better Icons which looks minimal in Design. Also the User Interface is also improved which makes the Android 8.0 seem Pleasant and More Attractive to the User.
  • Background Limits:  The New Android 8.0 Oreo brings a functionality which let you restrict the Number of Apps which are running in the Background at a point of time. This Functionality can come handy for those who are having a Low Specs Android Device, as they can take benefit of this feature to restrict more Apps which will further result in better Memory Management and Ultimately better Performance.
  • New Wi-Fi Features: Android 8.0 Oreo include More Wifi Features like the Neighborhood Aware Networking (NAN), which let you connect your Android Device with another Android Device without an internet access point or internet access at all which makes it a life saver when you don’t have an Internet Access.
