Here’s Everything You Need For Your Next Snow Trip

Snow trips with friends and family are fun, so make sure you have everything you need to hit the slopes or play in the cold! Our list features everything you’ll need from clothing to skincare and will make sure you’re not stuck shivering in the cold with chapped lips counting down the hours until you can head home to warmth.

Here are some must-have items for your next trip to the snow:

Clothing

Layer. Layer. Layer. Make sure to bring clothes that work for layers as you’ll be cold and way more comfortable if you’re warm. The essentials to bring are:

  • Beanies
  • Ski jacket
  • Ski pants
  • Goggles (if you’re planning to be active and hit the slopes)
  • Gloves (we recommend waterproof ones!)
  • Sunglasses
  • Shoes (again, we recommend waterproof ones!)
  • Thermals
  • Thick socks

Sunscreen

While you might only think about using sunscreen on the beach, it’s important to make sure you’re using SPF in the snow too! In the mountains, you may be face to face with conditions that your skin is not used to and it’s best to have the necessary essentials with you. In addition to wearing sunscreen, using a lip balm with SPF will also help your trip be that much more enjoyable. If you’re planning to play in the snow, we also recommend bringing hand and body cream to help keep your skin hydrated and soft.

Electronics

A GoPro or selfie stick (we don’t judge) is a must-have if you’re venturing down the slopes or if you’re with family. Having a camera or phone with you isn’t bad either as long as you’re capturing fun moments to make for great memories. Lightweight items are best as you’ll be taking them around with you and there is a small chance they’ll get a little wet from the snow!

These are our essential items to pack and take with you on your next trip! Did we miss anything important? Let us know in the comments below!
