New Nintendo 3DS; what it has to offer for gamers

If a gamer is ordering a new device, then the most important feature that will attract him is the amazing new 3D effect. The older version of 3DS demanded the gamers to keep their head in ‘sweet spot,’ a fixed position, to achieve the benefit of the extra dimension but now the players can conveniently move around, and 3D follows them.

All thanks to the latest console’s front-facing camera, 3DS will now follow the gamer’s head and adjust parallax for meeting the angle of their focus. Just like when the stereotypic function of the 3DS showed up in the year 2011, the latest 3DS feature offers something that gamers need to see and understand. However, it is assured that the new 3DS features makes a phenomenal difference and has given a reason to many gamers for pushing the slider of 3D back up again.

Having that said, there is still a debate going on over whether the latest 3D effect of the handheld devices by Nintendo is something more than just a gimmick, and the company has not done enough lately to prove otherwise. Two of the most popular games that hit the 3DS, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, ignored this feature for most of the parts. The 2DS, however, speaks for itself.

The new head-tracking 3D by Nintendo does not make the device better in pop and clarity, but it does make it more comfortable and consistent to use, which for many users, is still a great improvement.

Added speed, however, is something that might be slightly less noticeable when a gamer picks up a 3DS. The company has swapped out CPU for a faster model. The applications now close and open with added brevity, while many of the upcoming games are going to be only compatible with the newer model.

The Circle Pad Pro is designed to provide a fix for anyone who does not want to upgrade currently, but all the new games which exclusively are New 3DS-compatible, there is no another solution for the gamers with older versions but to buy the new one. And this is going to cause a little fragmentation, but the very reason for this change is obsolescence of the previous processor by Nintendo which has now become four years old.

It is yet to be seen just how much of grunt the latest processor will lend 3DS, but with additional controls which now have become a part of parcel it might be the only issue that is standing between some lovely Gamecube ports and 3DS. The prospect of 1 day playing the Mario Sunshine on 3DS is indeed greatly exciting for gamers all around the world.

What has not been significantly boosted on the latest model, however, is the camera of the New 3DS. There has been a minor improvement for picture capturing in conditions with low light, but overall it is a slightly weak feature according to gamers who have hands-on experience with new 3DS.

Nintendo has made another preparation for future, NFC, which is going to be much useful and it is called. The New Nintendo 3DS comes with a built-in NFC which is ready for the Nintendo’s army of the Amiibo figurines. Simply by placing Amiibo on the bottom screen of 3DS, the two will interact and allow the gamer to level up their character, gain bonus items, etc. The sales of Nintendo’s toys are going marvelously well currently. So it is all but rational to expect seeing many more characters along with increased 3DS interaction very soon.

And for the games, it is not needed to say that they are in abundance. Some of the games are really good and with their technical superiority give competition to certain PS Vita games.

The gaming library that is available for 3DS owners is varied and vast already. The game library will grow stronger with some more powerful games all thanks to new CPU.

Whereas gamers can look forward to future, knowing that the new Pikmingame for the Nintendo 3DS, Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King and Ever Oasis are in their war next year, i.e. 2017.

New 3DS XL Galaxy

The president of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime revealed the Galaxy Style New Nintendo 3DS XL in August 2016. The Galaxy Style New Nintendo 3DS XL features an image of the lavender galaxy on a replaceable plate of the device.

Since the launch of New Nintendo 3DS XL, the company has released different variants of the device among which the Galaxy Style New Nintendo 3DS XL stands out for its color and appearance.

The Galaxy Style version of New Nintendo 3DS XL was revealed officially by Reggie Fils-Aime on a social platform, Twitter. He announced that the Galaxy Style variant would be available soon for a price of $199.99. On contradiction to what anybody might guess initially, based on the name of handheld, the latest Galaxy New Nintendo 3DS XL did not appear to have any relation with Super Mario Galaxy series. In the video that was released for introducing the Galaxy Style New Nintendo 3DS XL, a morphing star filed was shown that eventually becomes the front side of the handheld device. Besides the appearance of the device, Galaxy Style New Nintendo 3DS XL is very much similar to its predecessors, similar to Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes New Nintendo 3DS XL which was released last year, i.e. 2015.

The faceplate of Galaxy New Nintendo 3DS XL is very beautiful to look at, while the handheld device, of course, offers all the bonuses for players that were introduced by the New Nintendo 3DS when it was launched to surpass the older version, Nintendo 3DS. Besides a larger XL-model display screen and new C-Stick, the latest New Nintendo 3DS XL has superior visuals in combination with a system which has more processing power as compared to the original Nintendo 3DS. However, if a user gets bored of the look of Galaxy Style 3DS model, they can easily remove and swap the faceplate, as they can do with all other versions of New Nintendo devices.

Unfortunately, the officials at Nintendo sis not announce their plans of releasing Galaxy Style faceplate to be an add-on or a stand-alone for those players who were already using a New Nintendo 3DS XL device which means that if a gamer wants to have a Galaxy Style faceplate, he will need to buy a new device for the purpose. Additionally, while the cost of handheld devices are identical to the standard red and black variants of New Nintendo 3DS XL, certain gamers might prefer picking up the versions when it offers a game, for instance, the Pokémon New Nintendo 3DS bundle. However, other gamers can wait for discount deals to grab their favorite variant.

Though the Galaxy Style version is very attractive and appealing to gamers, not every gamer would want to buy this handheld especially when they already are using another variant of New Nintendo 3DS XL.
